Region: Newfoundland – Boating License Courses Available NOW

Newfoundland, which is part of the Newfoundland and Labrador province, is a large Canadian island on North America’s east coast, and it is popular destination for tourists from all over North America and the world. During the summer months, it has particular appeal for boating enthusiasts because boating plays such a strong role in life on the island, and there are a great number of boat-related activities. There are sporting events, trade shows and even a museum dedicated to boating throughout Newfoundland history. There are also a number of large marinas, as well as yacht clubs and the like, and visitors can bring their own boat or rent from one of the many charters.

Newfoundland and the surrounding areas are rich with tradition and culture, and there is plenty to do and experience for the non-boater, including ferries, tours and excursions. Nevertheless, in order to get the most out of a trip to Newfoundland, you should take a boat and explore the coastline and all the secrets that it holds. However, to do that, you must have a Canada boating license. The charters will not rent to you without one, and if the authorities stop you, you will likely face steep fines and other penalties. Fortunately, it is not difficult to get a Newfoundland boating license, and you can even schedule the exam so that you can take it there at the beginning of your vacation.
